Dear Friends,   Venus will be stationing retrograde at 23 degrees of Gemini on the 15th of May for 40 days, giving us one more week before we enter the "shadow" of the retrograde. Therefore, if you are working on any plans to beautify or decorate your home, your wardrobe, or your body (especially plastic surgery) do it now, or rather wait until the 2nd of July, at which time Saturn will have also turned direct in Libra, ruled by Venus. However, you will only have a 2 week period after that before Mercury stations retrograde for the second time this year on the 15th of July in Leo.     Whenever a planet goes retrograde it is a time of having to deal with energies, which are, or have been mismanaged, internalised or invisible to you, in this instance, from approximately 18 months ago, which is what is called the "Venus Cycle." Therefore, the retrograde exposes the dysfunction pertaining to Venusian issues in this case, which are generally exposed when the planet turns direct, and especially the week following this. Venus is the Universal Significator of love vs lust, sex, self-worth, your values, self-love, self-respect, pleasure, business, money, art, creativity, beauty, women, wives, and exploring the good things in life. Venus also represents femininity, relationships, how you relate to the world, how you earn money, your sexuality, inner world, desires, and passions - for good or for bad. As with any retrograde we always ask "good for who, bad for who?" This is largely determined by the aspects between the transiting retrograde planet and your natal blueprint. Before I explain how this affects you, it is important to understand Gemini, because this is where Venus is "playing" at the moment.     Gemini, like Venus, also signifies money, as well as business, commerce, talking, listening, thinking, communicating, teaching, writing and the expression of thoughts and ideas in general. It is the "collector of information" and its nature is change; like the Moon, because it is mutable in nature. Gemini loves to "wheel and deal," buy and sell, is very talkative, quick-witted, versatile, mobile, restless, cheeky, curious, mischievous, vivacious, inconsistent, dualistic, loves intrigue and playing tricks on people, childish at times, falls in love with wit and intelligence, inquisitive and inquiring. One of the main downfalls of Gemini is gossip, superficiality, fickleness, and bending the truth to suit self-gain. Because Gemini is an air sign, it can play tricks on your mind, and words are used to trick, which is why when Mercury, the ruler of Gemini is retrograde, communication becomes such an issue, and judgement, decisions, and communication in general is clouded.     Based on this, we weave the energies together and you see that during the upcoming retrograde issues regarding all of the above can, and may very well be mismanaged, internalised, or invisible, and dysfunctions regarding this is what needs to be reviewed, re-addressed, re-assessed, re-visited, and reflected upon in order to rise above that which has resulted in the debilitation. Especially if lovers from the past re-surface for unfinished business to be addressed. Therefore, this is the perfect time to invest your time and energy in addressing your thoughts, dialogue, and communication in general with regards to relationships, desires, creativity, money, how you make money, your values, self-worth, self-love, and how this impacts you for good or for bad. Venus in Gemini needs to build bridges, requires affection through words, she is friendly, changeable and expresses her love through talking, playing, witticism, doing unusual things and bringing new and interesting information to the fore. As a result, during this cycle bridges might be "burnt," and talking, playing and witticism might be withheld, delayed, mismanaged or internalised as a result of not feeling heard, or feeling unsafe to express freely. Mental stimulation, lightness, change and freedom are impeded and keeping two "loves" going at the same time will prove detrimental to existing partnerships. Therefore, affairs of the heart need to be considered and the choice between lust and love must be made, or the illicit behaviour will be exposed, be it in business or relationships. Also be aware of not making hasty decisions. The ruler of Gemini, Mercury, is currently transiting through fiery cardinal Aries, therefore, think before you act or speak, otherwise you might very well find yourself regretting anything said in anger or committed to too hastily.     In order to determine "good for who, bad for who" you must understand the aspects, or relationship between transiting Venus and your personal astrological chart. Let me first quickly explain what each "house" signifies. The houses are the 12 divisions of your blueprint representing various areas of your life. If you have any planets in Gemini in the 1st house of your blueprint, the retrograde will impact you personally - your body, your wit, your skill, life, primary motivation and awareness of self. Gemini in your 2nd house will affect your finances and moveable wealth/possessions. In the 3rd house, your siblings, neighbours, short distance travel, cars, daily commuting and your immediate environment. Gemini in your 4th house will affect your home, father, real estate, family and anything considered "fixed" wealth. In your 5th house it affects your first born child, your creativity, lovers, sexuality, recreation, speculation, illicit sex, romance and investments. In your 6th house your daily routine, health, healing, servants, small domestic animals, the people you work with daily, nutrition and how you nurture yourself, and that which enslaves you. In the 7th house it will impact your legal partnerships - marriage and business, your allies, your 2nd child and who you consider "open enemies." In the 8th house, your partner's resources are affected, as well as other people's resources in general - banks, insurance, tax and inheritances. It is also the place where fears are highlighted and where things from the past can be dug up and dumped. In the 9th house it will address your spiritual nature, ethics, wisdom, foreigners, foreign travel, long distance travel, import/export, higher education, courts, lawyers, your partner's siblings, your 3rd child, professors, teachers, highly educated individuals, your philosophies and relationship with God/Spirit. In your 10th house your career, business, profession, actions, bosses, mother, grandmother and your reputation. It is also considered the "point of destiny," your social standing and worldly position. In your 11th house, your 4th child, your friends, groups, organisations, socialising, your hopes, faith, wishes, dreams, fortune and aspirations. And finally, in your 12th house you are dealing with "hidden enemies;" external and the "hidden enemy" within, that which imprisons and institutionalises you and becomes your own undoing. It is the place of prisons, hospitals, depression, worries, anxieties, the sub-conscious and unconscious, self-sabotage, endings, resolve and finalisation.     The next thing we do is look at the aspects; the relationship between the other planets in your chart in relation to transiting Venus in Gemini. If you have planets in Sagittarius, you will experience a tug-of-war pertaining to the issues as described above, based on where your planets are located. Gemini is 180 degrees from Sagittarius, which is an opposition and why I said "tug-of-war." It might also result in opposing forces and interests, which result in denial and/or indecision. Gemini is 90 degrees from Pisces and Virgo, thus if you have planets in either of those two signs you can expect a conflict interests, challenges, struggles and/or aversion. Planets in Aries or Leo are 60 degrees away from Gemini, thus, expect a collaboration of energies where people/energies "pitch in" personally to help you. Planets in Libra and Aquarius are 120 degrees from Gemini, therefore you can expect assistance and resources supporting you coming your way. For those of who will experience challenging aspects, please don't lose hope. This is in fact an incredibly empowering time of profound healing and self-discovery. See it as a time when you can delve in deep and discover the truths that will set you free. This is your time to harness everything you have learnt, apply your knowledge and address everything that breaks down your self-worth, robs you of self-respect, self-love and the good things in life.     I have personally had to delve deeply into this aspect of myself and face my shadow and that of others. As painful as it has at times been, I cannot emphasise enough how grateful I am for those times when deception and betrayal were exposed to me. These moments helped me rise above my past patterns and re-evaluate what is really important to me, what I deserve, and how I can go about reclaiming my personal power, self-worth, self-respect and self-love. It is natural to feel anxious when we know something might challenge us, but this is how we learn to master and over-come the past. This is a place where we see the illusion, work through the confusion, and rise in love, stronger, wiser, more whole and healed. Through shattering these seven seals of poverty consciousness and coming to understand that God truly does fulfil every prayer expressed, your trust in this Superior Force will increase and this is the time where paradise, abundance, prosperity and luxury come to be one with you - the luxury of spending your time in the fertile gardens of the supreme mind of God Consciousness which automatically, without effort, delivers to you physically that which you need in every single moment." Look out for this itinerary within the next few days.    He also instructed me to revise, update and publish another of his earlier teachings, the "24:4 Acknowledging the Voice of Need" which is also the latest addition to the Triple God/Goddess Series. In this channelling he speaks about the "needy one" within, and what happens when that part of our self is continuously ignored. "The needy one is the voice of your infant self, the inner child, the inner adolescent, the young adult; all the  aspects of self in fact that feels a need has not been met. The moment the need  went unmet remains crystallised within your energy field and can only be transmuted into a fulfilled need when you listen to what the need is. Humanity  has been trying with all its might to fulfil those needs, but many do not know how to give their attention to the needy one; the one screaming to have its needs met.
